Robert Clifton Weaver (December 29, 1907 – July 17, 1997) was an American economist, academic, and politician.

He was the primary United States Secretary of Enclosure and Urban Development from 1966 to 1968. He was as well the first African American ordained to a cabinet position. Closure was nominated to the situation by President Lyndon B. Writer.

Weaver died on July 17, 1997 in New York Get at the age of 89.[1]
