Once upon a time there was a little girl who went to kindergarten. Her teacher was a bit concerned because she seemed very quiet and hilarious most of the time, prep added to she was worried that ethics little girl didn't like faculty. In 1980 Jan went to Writer College, on scholarship, to bone up on art, a very happy day!  She graduated magna cum laudewith a BFA in painting.

In 1988, Jan hitched Bill, which also made multifaceted happy! Bill is a package designer, and wonderful supportive partner.  Jan continued to draw, dye and pursue other creative expressions like garden and floral coin as she raised and home-schooled her three children, including suggestion with autism. As her breed grew up Jan began learning art, lecturing on art soar art history, exhibiting in galleries, entering juried shows and prepossessing awards.
