Prabhakar Kolte was born in 1946 pointer received his diploma from class Sir J.J. School of Flow, Mumbai in 1968 and ormed there between 1972 and 1994. The early work of Prabhakar Kolte shows the strong effect of Paul Klee, the Country artist and teacher whose inexperienced figures belie the sophistication look upon his richly textured surfaces.

Kolte’s abstract layering with paint repetition cityscapes where the signs illustrious textures reveal his modernist realization. Bands of color juxtaposed conflicting each other create bold ascensions and recessions. His early canvases are characterized by a unmarried, dominant colour in the breeding, on which lighter and hound complex geometric or organic forms are juxtaposed.
